The Audi R8 is designed to cut through the air with very little resistance which is great for around town and non-track driving. But when at the higher speeds found on the open track, downforce is very limited. The solution is from APR Performance. The Carbon side rocker extensions forces air along the side of the car making it stick to the road. The added benefit of a more aggressive look is also a plus.
