These high quality headers are made from T309 stainless steel.The 4-2-1 design maximizes torque and horsepower in mid range, right where the driver needs it. The bends and connection points are of a constant radius design which maximizes the exhaust gas flow. These headers are built as light and durable as possible. Comes equipped with the connections for the air injection system of the Scuderia. They come standard with the new innovative Capristo Heat Shield. The Headers can not be used without these heat shields!

This product is made from a very high-heat resistant material, used by NASA. This helps to reduce radiant heat from the exhaust headers and sports catalysts. It is heat resistant for temperatures of up to 1300 degrees C. Reduced heat or temperatures in the engine compartment improves performance. Cooler air boxes results in a cooler air temperature for the engine to breath in. This denser air makes more horsepower.

As the outside of the glaring hot exhaust is shielded from its surroundings, the shields also reduce the possibility of fire which sometimes arises from liquids contacting the exhaust systems. The headers are compatible with the OEM catalytic converters and can also be used as a cost-effective substitute for a defective original header. It also fits to the normal F430 when the air injector port is blocked off. Headers for the normal F430 are also available.

Note: It is important to note that the nuts fastening these headers should not be torqued over 24 Nm or 17.5 foot pounds. This applies to the OEM headers as well as the Capristo headers. Over tightening will lead to stud failure and/or cylinder head damage. Hot, leaking exhaust gas can damage other parts or cause a fire.
