Driveshaft Shop has developed a set of axle bars and C.V. upgrades for this platform. Using 36 spline bars (stock are 28) made from 300M they are the same style used in the ultra successful level 5 Cobra axles (1.3 60ft times in a 3700lb/950hp car), Driveshaft has also made a custom cage and race set that have a smaller openings on the windows. This smaller opening allows the torque rating to climb 55% above the stock CVs. This along with the chromoly material makes the axle practically indestructible. What they will be doing is this, they will need your C.V. axle wheel ends. Driveshaft will heat treat and temper them to their spec. then theyll install the new Chromoly cage/race system along with the 36 spline bars, and then put factory style tin covers on the wheel end (double o-ring sealed). The end result is an extremely strong set of axles. You need to send in your axles to have this process done, it takes 7-10 days for the process to be completed.
