Forge Front Mounted Intercooler Nissan GT-R R35 09-12

This Forge Front Mounted Intercooler is a upgrade for the Nissan GTR R35 models. After considerable trials, Forge found that the most efficient for these models, was a core of tube and fin design, and along with an overall increase in dimensions we have been able to improve the cooling ability and reduce the pressure loss across when compared to stock intercoolers. Forge intercooler is more than twice the size of the stock intercoolers. They conducted there own test on software tuned vehicles, to ensure that they would be working their hardest and the results showed both a reduction in inlet temperature, an increase in horsepower and torque, but with no detrimental effect on turbo spool-up. This intercooler is currently used on the UK GTR 1/4 mile record holder!

The GTR intercooler kit is supplied complete with all parts required, including mandrel bent 70mm pipework to both throttle bodies, silicon hoses, all clips, bolts, and nuts together with comprehensive colour instructions.

Please note that a Nissan throttle body optimisation is recommended PRIOR to installation, and that POST installation the car should be mapped with either the Cobb Accessport or EcuTek software which are pre-programmed with a setting for the Forge intercooler.
