The Power Cowl is necessary for hood clearance for the Stillen G35 supercharger. This unit is a gloss finish carbon fiber cowl. More highly prepped and consistent a finish than the matte finish unit. No final prep and painting required. A template for cutting an opening in the stock hood is provided as are installation hardware and instructions.
