Harnessing the energy of the exhaust gas leaving the engine, a turbo charger greatly boosts the power of an engine compared to a similar sized naturally aspirated engine. Turbocharged cars are popular amongst tuners for the tremendous performance potential they have from the factory. Eventually though the turbocharger must be upgraded to support more power.

This turbo is designed to maximize low to mid range torque characteristics. This turbo is ideal for daily driven cars looking for more power while retaining drivability, or daily drivers that are used on the track during the weekends. The response of the turbo is immediate with light use of the throttle and peak boost is reached at 4000 RPM. This turbo is capable of producing 400 horsepower. Tomei designed this turbo to bolt on directly to the rear wheel drive SR20DET, meaning all other factory or factory replacement intercoolers, downpipes, etc. will work with this turbo.
