Harnessing the energy of the exhaust gas leaving the engine, a turbo charger greatly boosts the power of an engine compared to a similar sized naturally aspirated engine. Turbocharged cars are popular amongst tuners for the tremendous performance potential they have from the factory. Eventually though the turbocharger must be upgraded to support more power.

This turbo is designed for high power at high RPM. This turbo is best suited for dedicated track cars that need to maximize power at high RPM. The power and torque sacrificed in the low end is more than compensated by the increase in power and torque in the top end of the RPM range. Full boost is reached at 4500 RPM. This turbo is capable of producing 450 horsepower. Tomei designed this turbo to bolt on directly to the rear wheel drive SR20DET, meaning all other factory or factory replacement intercoolers, downpipes, etc. will work with this turbo.
