The stock EVO X intercooler works well for cars maintaining stock boost levels and aren;t very highly modified. However, when boost is increased, the OEM intercooler is unable to keep up in cooling. The TurboXS intercooler core fits behind the stock bumper and can use either OEM or aftermarket intercooler piping. 

To increase efficiency, the TurboXS core is thicker than stock. This allows the hot air to travel across more heat dissipating surfaces to reduce intake temperatures.
